Being a personal trainer I can offer you some help. I would go with the Body Solid Brand. Bowflex in my opinion is all hype. They do have some nice features on them, but are a bit pricey. Body Solid has a home gym on sale for about $899, while a bowflex home gym will cost you over $1,000. http://www.fitnessweightequipment.net carries Body Solid products, and I’ve been buying from them for years now. go to craigslist.com and look around you for good cheap equipment a bench is a bench as long its not one of the cheap ones. i would invest in a power rack which the most VERSATILE.

Which company or brand makes the best Home Gyms? Which has the best reputation or the most popular?
Which company or brand makes the best home gyms? Bowflex? Gold’s Gym? Body Solid?, etc. and so on and so on. I don’t know all the fitness company names and brand names. I am thinking about buying a home gym in the future, but which company or brand makes the best ones, the best selling ones? I want to know your opinion, give me any company or brand name and tell me why you think it is good.
The one I’ve been curious and most interested in lately is Bowflex, but I am wondering if I am jumping to conclusions too early. I want to use my money wisely, I want to know what I am buying before I purchase.
