Most people who are once again trying to lose weight, do not look forward to a long drawn out regimen that bores you to tears. These routines have proven to be pretty ineffective in the past anyway, so there just has to be a better way.

There has actually been proof to the supposition that long-period, intense workouts will not do much in shedding the pounds. When done at a lower intensity level, these types of exercises may produce some positive results, but your body could get the wrong notion and end up stockpiling more fat, expecting you to burn fat at a slower pace because of the low intensity level.

The good news is there is a solution to this dilemma. It has been found that exercise done for a brief period but with increased intensity could bring about a much more favorable result. Your metabolic rate will increase with just a limited amount of exercise, burning calories for an entire day.

So, what is the explanation for this discovery? The actual truth is that high intensity routines expand the muscles. As the muscles expand, the calories inside the body end up getting burned. If you increase more muscle and reduce body fat, you’ll achieve a leaner and fitter physique.

Some may wonder if there really are effective workouts that can be done in only twelve minutes. In fact, there is a great workout plan that has been created for the busy individuals who definitely want to lose weight but are time challenged.

Undoubtedly, going to a fitness gym will not be a priority for an individual with a really tight schedule. It’s hard for most people to squeeze in a long, drawn out exercise routine, especially when the results are less than desirable. Who’s up for that?

Thus, the mission was accepted to formulate the workout plan that will not even require 30, 20, or 15 minutes from you, but only 12 minutes. Because of this 12 minutes, your body will fight the fat for most of the day. Your body will continue to chip away at those pounds after just 12 little minutes of exercise. This results in an effective and efficient weight loss regimen.

Plus, there is no requirement to drag yourself down to a boring gym or anywhere that is outside your beloved home. You can do this at home where you’re most comfortable. Simply pick a good corner in your home, some weights, easy-fitting clothes, execute the 12-minute plan and get yourself on the road to healthy weight loss.

Wii fit help needed x :) ?
For anyone who has the wii fit, which individual exercises e.g. step plus etc are the best for losing weight or having an impact on your body?

Usually I do 3 minutes of step basics, 2 minutes of a yoga pose, then i do 5 minutes of step plus. After I do 10 minute super hula hoop then I do 10 minutes free step and I finish off with a 12 minute jogging island lap.
Is this ok or do you think I should change it to a 40 minute stepping routine using the three stepping games as I have heard stepping is good for losing weight?

Do you think I should stick to my normal routine or try this new one?
Thanks x :)

try adding 1 minute to each exersice each week or every 2 week, whatever u prefer

From my personal workout on the wii, I think the stepping, yoga, strength training and ESPECIALLY those balance games places no impact on my body.

I do not think the stepping on the wii is effective. In a usual step class, the steps are much taller whereas the wii board is short… so it’s doesn’t work your legs that much. The stepping workout equates to nothing but minimal movement that burns minimal calories.

The most effective one is probably the super hula hoop. I usually do 3×10 minute super hula to get a good workout, get my heart pumping and my skin bursting with sweat. That is how I know exercises are working.

Then again, I do not know your fitness level. I do not exercise with the wii that much but run on the treadmill daily for 45mins – 1hour daily. So in that sense, I am accustomed to exercise that are intensive.

I think if you are going to modify your exercise routine on wii, 3×10 minute of super hula may be too intensive. I’d start small (i.e. with what you have – mixing up the super hula with other exercises) then slowly adding more time on the super hula.
