I am doing anaerobic exercise for last 7 months, & i have seen lot of improvment.

However i plan to do aerobic exercise also. So is it viable option to do both aerobic & anaerobic exercise in a day?

Anaerobic is exercise done in short spurts such as weight lifting, sprinting
Aerobic is exercise that increases your heart's pumping for extended periods such a speed walking, aerobic dancing, running
But are useful and healthy.
References :
A former aerobic teacher

anaerobic doesnt take up a lot oxygen
aerobic does over a long period of time

some examples of aerobic exercises are:
Aerobic classes that can be dancing to music or step dancing (fast movements)
Treadmills
Exercise bicycles
Ski machines
Air gliders
Jogging
Sports such as racquetball and handball

and then some examples of anaerobic exercises are:
Weight lifting
Machines that offer resistance
Dumbbells

you can tell the difference through the examples.
anaerobic takes less oxygen from your body.
hope i helped. :]
References :
Aeorbic exercise is when you elevate your heart rate to the point that you are burning calories at a fast rate but your breathing keeps up with your effort.
Anaerobic exercise is when your breathing cannot supply oxygen as fast as you burn it. You run out.
Anaerobic exercise is what boxers do. All out for 3 minutes.
Aerobic exercise is like runing a marathon.
References :
Is this a homework question?

Aerobic exercise is using oxygen at your body's maximum efficiency. Anaerobic exercise is exercise past the threshold of maximum efficiency.

(Not the answer you wanted, is it?)
References :
aerobic exercises get you breathing at a higher rate than normal. so running or sprinting would be aerobic but going for a lite jog or a walk would anaerobic because it doesn't require the use of extra oxygen.
References :
aerobic is based on or using the principles of aerobics; enhancing respiratory and circulatory efficiency
