How To Lose Weight Fast By Turning Fat Into Energy
Posted by Wilson | Posted in gym weight | Posted on 23-02-2010
How would you like to lose ten pounds or a complete dress size in just a week? It sounds impossible but you can certainly do it. If you need to lose weight fast, this mini food and exercise program will help you to do lose up to ten pounds in just a week, by turning your body fat into energy. This eating and exercise plan is not a long-term diet, it’s a program to build your energy and vitality. If you have a lot of weight to lose, then this diet is enough to get you started.
The first thing you need to do is to go shopping. You need to eat protein each and every day for both lunch and dinner. Protein sources include meat, fish, eggs and cottage cheese. You also need to buy salad or other vegetables to eat at lunch and dinner time along with your source of protein for the day.
Small Portions For A Big Effect — Portions Count When You Want To Lose Weight Fast
Look at the palm of your hand. Your portions of lunch and dinner time protein, whether meat or fish, should be no larger than the palm of your hand. Note that this is the portion size before cooking, not afterward – both meat and fish shrink when they’re cooked.
Walk Into A Slim New Life — Turn Fat Into Energy
If you need to lose weight fast, you need to exercise. If you’re not used to exercising, walking is just fine. Take a half hour walk everyday. You can split the half-hour into 15 minute sessions in the morning and in the evening. If you are used to exercising, then work out for an hour at the gym.
So there you have it – a program for you to follow if you need to lose weight fast. You’ll be able to wriggle into your jeans this time next week.
Remember you should always visit your doctor before you attempt to lose weight, and please don’t attempt this program if you have any health concerns.

Please help, trying to lose weight, nutrition question?
I found out that fattening is of course caused by sugar but also by eating a lot of foods with starch (carbohydrates) in them. Which that starch turns into glucose for energy, but then the extra glucose turns in to fat for later energy, hence the weight gain. I’ve also learned that the higher you’re metabolism the faster you’ll burn fat but the lower you’re metabolism the less fat you’ll burn, which might take longer for a person to lose weight. I have low metabolism, but not so low as for me to gain weight quickly, I gain weight slow but a little fast in a way, I would like to lose this extra fat (energy) and have learned that eating foods with no carbohydrates and trans fat in them will help. But to also realize that carbs are not all bad because we need it for enery, just not too much. I also need to be sure that more than 2 grams of fiber and protein are there (even though I get enough protein from eating the white part of eggs (egg lover here, heheh!). My point is what types of foods have fiber and protein in them and no carbs, I stay with my dad and 90% of the food he has is filled with a lot of carbs and a couple of trans fat. Also what percentage of carbs is ok to eat without someone with a low metabolism gaining weight too quick. Hope this did’t confuse you guys, thanks for helping me out with this question, I really want to lose weight and eat more healthy. I’m 21, 5,06/ 5,07, and weight over 170 pounds. (Eeekk, too much energy lol!)
Forgot to mention, I’m not an exercise fanatic, I’m actually lazy when it comes to exercising but can control myself on what to stop eating!

Eat your carbs in the morning only. After that, no carbs. I hope you are working out with weights or at least doing cardio everyday. Good sources of carbs are oatmeal, whole grain bread and pasta, and fruit. The rest of the day eat fish, chicken, veggies and salads. Only drink water. You’ll lose weight.

Eat lots of low cal fresh vegetables (like peas, asparagus, bell pepper, this list goes on forever) instead of starches (like potatoes, bread, rice, etc) and when you crave something sweet, eat fresh fruit. Be sure to get plenty of variety and try out different ways to prepare them so you get plenty of flavor and don’t get bored.
Also, be sure to get your protein. You don’t need as much as you may think. The average American actually gets too much which increases the risk for a lot of diseases. Just be sure to get about 30-60 grams a day. Especially good sources are nuts, seeds and soy products because they give you omega fatty acids w/o the hormones poisons, and bad fats in fish and meat.
Good luck and keep active. As far as exercise be sure to do strength training and cardio. Adding more muscle really boosts your metabolism and will make toned so you look thinner than you are.
